SHAPESHIFTER DRAGON AU MEME

I was going to write a bunch of prompts for this but you know what? Fuck it. You all know why you're here. Just remember to content warn your smut, my fellow sinners.

TLDR Dragons can shapeshift, have been hiding among humanity, some of them for a very long time. Culturally there tends to be a split between the ones that stay in one place and build a power base versus the ones that are more nomadic and wander from place to place. Also hoarding instincts are weird and sometimes latch onto things that are very definitely not Typical Hoards.

The one thing that I would consider a downside of my lifestyle is that I rarely get to socialize with others of our kind, especially in this form.

Well, most of us have different mothers, so we weren't all raised close.

Different strokes, I suppose. A family with a pair of egg twins as progenitors is probably not typical in that regard, either. We've never been very territorial with each other as a rule.

[He looks rather unsure]

[His long neck leans forward, just shy of nosing at Xander.]

I have lost quite a few siblings. To infighting and to outside battles. I'm my father's claw out in the world, I could die any time. So... it was prudent to keep my distance from my remaining siblings. I fear they don't see me as a loving older brother.

[founderinglight]

...It's not too late to change that.

[kingshaming]

I fear it is. Even Elise is no longer a hatchling.

[A flick of his tail.]

[There's a pause, and then Izunia gets up, stretching with an arch of his spine before he pads over and... with a strangely delicate little hop, loops himself around Xander's bulk.

[Xander makes a startled noise at the action, but doesn't resist... thought his body is tense and his wings twitch against his body.

Eventually he lowers his head, relaxing a little and rumbling in his chest]
