[Strange, and with a last name in what sounded like Old Insomnian to boot. But...well, could Ignis really say he was the same person now that he'd been at the end of the long night? If Ardyn had been through anything like what happened in Sinnoh, then the apparent sharp change in attitude made sense.]
Mind, that entire side of the family hates my guts except for Arianna, but the fact that there's even a 'that side of the family' to talk about at all gives me great joy.
[Izunia loves his stupid bro and his stupid bro's family.]
As for this place, it's a world with an intensely damaged fabric of reality, but for the most part we're a peaceful group. You shouldn't have to worry about any major threats here, just be prepared for my brother-in-law to try something incredibly stupid at some point.
[From the way he says it... Izunia's used to having to reassure people of this.]
If I may be blunt, you appear to be the first - certainly the first I've spoken to - who was in another place and wasn't in a situation where a small group was coerced into murdering each other for various purposes.
[The reassurance routine is not coming out of nowhere.]
We have to save a world by appealing to a pantheon over twice the number of the Hexatheon and confronting someone with control over their creator god and the power to reset the world dozens of times over.
[...as you do.]
I have four others equally as strong as Hemera, if outpacing Aurora a bit, with the ability to incapacitate as well as outright overpower. I'm not concerned of immediate physical threats, and the rest can be dealt with as it comes along.
Oh, they're not all that terrible once you get to know them. Very open to communication, and helpful where they're able. Giratina and Darkrai were...a bit difficult at first, but they're all well meaning enough.
My brother's husband is a very protective idiot. He means well, mostly, if you're not me, he's just... very loud and stupid, so please don't injure him too badly.
Good enough for me. This is Keystone Station - it's a bit of a complex at this point, three main buildings and a bit of a stable. This is the newest one, which is mostly housing - small apartments, communal kitchen.
[Time to stop scritching a good girl and straighten up.]
This floor's the doubles, which - oh, Prompto's here, but he's from just about the time Noctis went into the crystal, so you're forewarned.
Noctis was here, for a time - about the same time period, but he's been gone for a while now. Also another version of you, same time period, also vanished.
[He pauses.]
Right now, it's me, Ardyn, Prompto, and Ravus of all people. The last is still stubborn and stupid and Ardyn has his family to look after him, so I've been keeping an eye on Prompto and making sure he eats real food and so forth. He's... mildly traumatized but alright, mostly. I value his friendship a great deal.
Certainly understandable. I worry about him a great deal myself. He's...
[Izunia pauses, and sighs.]
I fear that because he never got the sort of unconditional support that he should have from his parents, he'll never be entirely secure in his place in the world. I do my best to offer him such now, as much as I can, but he's largely an adult and the damage has been done.

...Glad to hear it.
[And he found that he meant it, oddly enough.]

[Very much the opposite.]
I assure you, there's no reason to be concerned about me.

... I really hate gods, you know.
[SIGH. Of course it was gods, if it wasn't murder.]
There's not really much in the way of immediate threats to be concerned about. I'm more concerned for Church if he pulls something stupid.

[Shrugging, he adjusted his sunglasses.]
And dare I ask what you have in mind?

And good gods, no formality, I'm retired.

[He smiles, and gives Aurora another round of ear scratches.]
Care for a tour, or would you prefer a fuller situation update, first?

[Ignis had listened carefully until then, perking up slightly at the mention of Prompto regardless of timeline.]
What about Gladio or any of the others? Are they around?

I see. Thank you, for looking out for him. I'll check in with him later, as well as Ravus.

[ravus is a complicated subject because he's a complicated boy.]
As for Prompto, it's no trouble at all. He's practically family, I'm not very well going to leave him to flounder.
no subject
[compared to ravus with most people, that's practically a shining endorsement.]
But I'll still thank you all the same. I do worry about Prompto a little more than I might about Gladio, now and then.
